Risk/Operations

As Business Analyst in collections department, you will analyze collection related data to aid business in portfolio monitoring, staff KPI monitoring and user behavior to improve collections processes and systems to improve process efficiency. Data Science

The Role and Responsibilities

The VP of Data Science is responsible for developing and executing FinAccel’s data science strategy and building out a dedicated data science team in partnership with other stakeholders (specifically risk). You will primarily be focused on mining massive amounts of structured and unstructured data to improve our credit risk, fraud detection and collections systems. The primary objectives of FinAccel’s data science function are:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy
  • Build out a coherent company-wide approach to data analytics and lead a dedicated data analytics team
  • Leverage FinAccel’s vast amount of user data (spanning mobile, social media accounts, ecommerce and banking transactions, location, acquisition channel and so much more)

Develop a comprehensive data analytics strategy

  • Develop and execute a data analytics strategy to make continuous improvements to our credit scoring
  • Determine optimal data analytics organization resources and structure

  • Lead the development and enhancement of a data pipelines, ETL processes and data warehouse consistent with industry best practices and cutting edge approaches.

As Head of Business Development, you will have ownership of a portfolio of Kredivo’s largest merchant accounts and develop new revenue generating partnernerships in related areas. You will take a consultative approach to gain a clear understanding of the merchant’s/ client’s business drivers and objectives, in order to find potential for us to grow with them. This is a cornerstone position within the Kredivo org where this individual will be responsible for all merchant and client facing interactions, go-to-market strategy and commercial team management.

  • Build and develop long-term partnerships with a matrix of relevant stakeholders in our key merchant partner organisations
  • Improve existing merchant integrations to optimise the deployment of Kredivo’s solutions and placement, to maximize share of checkout through an insights driven sales approach

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a sales or business development role
  • Proven track record in developing and cultivating relationships across all levels
  • Proven track record as an accomplished sales or partnerships leader
  • Well versed in the payments, credit card or consumer finance industry
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Hi-energy and goal-driven personality, focused on achieving big things in ½ the time that it takes most people
  • At least a Bachelor's Degree

Marketing

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute and monitor brand communication strategies and key activity plans in order to increase the company's brand awareness
  • Work closely with, coordinate, guide and influence cross-functional stakeholders to ensure impact on the brand
  • Manage the development communication materials for exploitation across a number of channel and ensure they are consistent and alight with the brand
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with key business media partners nationally and trade publications to improve public awareness on company’s brand and image
  • Constantly write and pitch interesting stories to both national and local media to achieve strong visibility in print, broadcast, TV and online media outlets
  • Liaise with our appointed PR Agency on a daily basis
  • Manage external marketing agency and media buying
  • Identify and exploit media trends, hypes, news cycles and opportunities
  • Responsible for event and partnership activity
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing/Business, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related (or equivalent) is preferred
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in building a fast growing consumer brand
  • Highly creative, great attention to detail, and passionate about creating great content
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate ideas
  • Strong network and relationship with general business, media contacts, entertainment trade press/analyst/blogger communities, and particularly with business media houses
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt in fast-moving environment with minimum supervision
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter and independent thinker
  • Knowledge of international publications and opportunities is a plus
